Condolences

Condolence From: Jack Salvatore
Condolence: To J-2, Jerry, Michael, Robert and Joey...

There are no words to describe the loss of a Dad. There are no words that can help ease the emotional pain of that loss. I know when my Dad passed away, I kept talking to him.....in the car, in the dark....and to this day, I still sometimes "ask" him for help with an idea or a solution. Losing a Dad also puts you in immediate touch with your own mortality....which brings its own kind of emotional strain, believe me.

The Brothers Salvatore were four good men....good family men. Johnny and Freddy, with their toothy grins and loud brashness.....Jerry and Tony with their wry smiles and quiet, gentle demeanors. I'll always remember the way your Dad's smile would dissect his face from ear to ear.....and if you could actually get a real laugh from him, it was like winning an Oscar. I think of them now, runnin' the streets of heaven in their guinea t-shirts, and slapping cards down on the table in a spirited game of Brisk! (Shoot...made myself cry....)

Be peaceful boys....miss y'all.....love ya. J-1
