Obituary for William W "Bill" Heil

Parlin
William W. Heil age 80 of the Parlin section of Sayreville passed away Monday December 23rd 2013 at Briarwood Care and Rehabilitation in Sayreville. Born in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania he was raised in Newark and East Orange before moving to Parlin in 1959. Before his retirement he was the owner of Micro House Computers in Milltown for 12 years, had worked for 33 years at Monroe Calculators Company and after his retirement as a school bus driver for Cardinal McCarrick High School in South Amboy. William proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, was a member of Sayreville American Legion Post 211, Disabled American Veterans Association and Saint Stanislaus Kostka Holy Name Society. He was a member, past grand knight and financial secretary for Sayreville Knights of Columbus Council 2061where he was a member of the 4th Degree Assembly. Bill was a communicant of Saint Mary’s R. C. Church in South Amboy.

Surviving are his wife of 60 years Barbara Groblewski Heil, his children and their spouses Christopher & Darlene Heil of Sayreville Susan Consolo of Clinton Ct., Chuck & Lillian Heil of Sayreville and Mark & Laura Heil of Summit, his grandchildren Christopher, Ryan, Steven, Devin, Chuck Jr., Nicole, Anna, William and Julia, his great grandchildren Noah, Ruby and Ryder and his brother Edward Heil and his wife Dorothy of Mt Arlington.

Funeral services will be held Friday 9:45am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin followed by a 10:30am mass at Saint Mary’s R. C. Church in South Amboy with entombment to follow at Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, South Brunswick.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Thursday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. The following groups will hold services Thursday at the funeral home: Sayreville American Legion Post 211 7:15pm, Saint Stanislaus Kostka Holy Name Society 8pm, K of C 2061 8:30pm, 4th Degree Assembly will stand honor guard from 7pm to 9pm hold services at 8:45pm.
