Thomas E. Maxein age 55 of Brick, passed away Monday September 19th 2011 at Ocean County Medical Center, Brick. Born in Perth Amboy he had resided in Sayreville before moving to Brick 20 years ago. Thomas was employed in auto body repair for 30 years before his retirement from Coury’s Auto Body in Toms Rive 10 years ago.

He is pre deceased by his parents Frank & Mildred Maxein and his brother in laws John and Robert Holthausen. Surviving are his wife of 35 years the former Susan Palmer, his siblings and their spouses Wayne & Ann Maxein, Patricia & Gary Pakela and Jeffrey & Laura Maxein, his father & mother in law Rudolph & Irene Holthausen, his brother & sister in laws and their children Daniel & Mary Ann Palmer, Thomas & Gina Holthausen, Robert Palmer, Eva Holthausen and many extended family members.

Funeral services will be held Friday 8pm at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin with private cremation to follow. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Friday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to9pm. Messages of condolences may be left for the family at www.spezzifuneralhome.com
