I cannot believe that it is a year since Tom passed away. I knew Tom from his visits to the doctor's office. Each time he came to the office, he had a smile on his face and kindness and generosity in his heart. He would always bring "the girls" a box of Dunkin Donuts, even when he was ill and had to use a walker to get to the office. And, when Tom Jr had to bring him to the office, Tom Sr made sure they stopped for donuts.

It is always hard to lose someone you love, especially someone as wonderful as Tom.  I would like to believe that he is now being rewarded for all of his kindnesses here on earth. We still think of him often at the doctor's office, not as the "donut delivery man" but as someone who touched our hearts.
