South Amboy
Robert DeHanes, age 62 of South Amboy passed away Saturday, April 18, 2020 at Bayshore Hospital in Holmdel. He was born and raised in Perth Amboy, prior to moving to South Amboy. Bob was the owner and operator of Bob’s Landscaping. He was a past member of the Perth Amboy Fire Department McClellan Engine Company, a past member of the South Amboy First Aid Squad and a past member of the Morgan First Aid Squad.
He is predeceased by his father Joseph and his brother Joseph.
Surviving are his son Adam and his wife Kaite, his sister Lisa Czapor, his mother Dorothy DeHanes and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces.
All services are private due to the COVID-19 federal restrictions on public gatherings, under the direction of Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin, NJ 08859. Letters of condolence can be found at www.spezzifuneralhome.com.
