Obituary for Robert A Gangi
Robert Gangi age 58, of South Amboy passed away Sunday June 16, 2019 at his home in Laurence Harbor. Before his retirement Robert was employed by local laborer unions 1153 and 79. Predeceased by his parents Anthony Gangi and Marie (Buttell) Gangi, and his sister Elaine (Gangi) Campbell.
Surviving are his loving wife of 41 years Clara (Hulsart) Gangi, his children, Anthony Gangi, James Gangi and Kellymarie Gangi, his grandchildren Jayce Gangi, Jameson Gangi, and Abigail Gangi, his brother
in-law Frank Campbell, his nephews Christopher Campbell and Joey Campbell, his brother-in-law Richard Hulsart, his sister-in-laws Mary Jane (Hulsart) Longo and Diane (Hulsart) Adubato, as well as many other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Robert was a jack of all trades upon being “papa destructo”. He would help anyone in need including strangers. He not only taught his children but any person willing to learn. He will truly be missed by those who looked to him for a reliable source of repair, and he will be missed by all who knew him.
In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Roberts name to his family. Services at The Carmen F Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin, NJ 08859 will be Saturday June 22 from 2pm to 6pm.
