Obituary for Regina Truszkowski
Regina Truszkowski, age 97 of East Brunswick passed away on Friday, October 26, 2018 at CareOne at East Brunswick. Born in Dobrzyjalowo, Poland she had arrived to the USA in 1948 to Matawan. She had resided in Sayreville for 47 years before moving to East Brunswick 4 years ago. Before her retirement she was employed by Boyle Midway Inc, in Cranford as an assembly line worker for many years. Regina was a communicant of Sacred Heart RC Church in South Amboy where she was also a member of the Rosary Society. She was very talented at sewing, embroidering and knitting.
She is predeceased by her parents Julian and Bolesawa Szypulski, her husband Frank, her brothers Julian and Wacek Szypulski, her sister Halina Orlowski and her son in law Frank Poweska. Surviving are her children Marianna Lesczuk and her husband Joseph of Sayreville and Barbara Poweska of Blairstown, her grandchildren Steven Poweska, Jennifer Schulze and James Mack, her great-grandchildren Lily and Alex Schulze, her brother Josef Szypulski of South Amboy, her sister Krystyna Ciba of South Amboy and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 9:30am Wednesday from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin with a 10am Mass at Sacred Heart RC Church in South Amboy. Entombment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Parlin.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Tuesday from 3 to 7pm.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Regina’s name to the Sacred Heart Church Repair Fund, 531 Washington Ave, South Amboy, NJ 08879.
