Peter Krolik age 86 of Sayreville passed away Thursday February 16th 2012 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. Born in Jamesburg he has resided in Sayreville all of his life. Before his retirement 35 years ago he was employed as a millwright for National Lead Industries in Sayreville for 30 years. Mr. Krolik was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, a member of Sayreville V.F.W. Post 4699, a communicant of Saint Stanislaus Kostka R.C. Church in Sayreville.

He is predeceased by his parents Victor & Anna Krolik, and his sisters Julia Olschewski and Stella Bonkowski. Surviving are his wife of 62 years Helen Boszko Krolik, his son Gary Krolik of Sayreville, his daughter Diane Lardiere and her husband Christopher of Columbus, Ohio, his grandchildren Jason & Matthew Lardiere, Matthew, Taylor, Kelly, Jonathan and Morgan Krolik, his brother Victor Krolik of California and his sister Nancy Krolik of Pennsylvania.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday 8:30am from the Maliszewski Memorial Home 121 Main Street Sayreville followed by a 9am mass at Saint Stanislaus Kostka R. C. Church in Sayreville with burial to follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery, East Brunswick.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be Monday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. Members of Sayreville V.F.W. Post 4699 will hold military services and Monday at 7:30pm at the funeral home. Letters of condolence may be sent to the family at www.maliszewskimemorialhome.com
