Many years ago, at E.R. Squibb & Sons, I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Patty’s mom Carole. Her smile so bright and her laugh infectious. She was always smiling and eager to help. If she was having a bad day, you’d never know it. She touched the heart of so many people. Carole’s passing left a huge hole in our Squibb family.
Well they say the fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree. Patty had that same bright smile, infectious laugh, great attitude, and always there for anyone who needed her help. I can’t recall a time seeing Patty that she didn’t have that bright smile on her face. She loved being a Mom, was such a joy to work with, and touched the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. She too will leave a huge hole in so many people’s lives.
After leaving BMS in 2007 I lost touch with Patty. I’m so grateful that I ran into her at a Bingo game several months ago and was able to catch up on our lives. Nothing had changed, despite so many things she had gone through. I was greeted with hugs, her joyful upbeat personality, and her signature smile! That is how I will always remember Patty.
My deepest sympathy & prayers to the entire family and Patty’s friends. May you find peace & comfort in the days ahead, remembering the good times and how our lives were better because of Patty.
Godspeed Patty
Rest in Peace

Words can’t even describe the loss we are feeling over our dear colleague Patty. I knew Patty and had worked with her on small things earlier in my career at BMS, yet it wasn’t until joining the Clinical Supplies Operations R&D Logistics team 3 years ago where I became lucky enough to work really closely with Patty and even luckier to have the opportunity to have someone like Patty on my team. She was a wonderful employee. Patty was with BMS for over 35 years. This alone is such an accomplishment. She amazed me with how pleasant and positive she always was. She had the sweetest personality and the largest smile. It didn’t matter how busy she was, she was always willing to lend a hand, volunteer to take on something extra, and always did so with a smile. She was reliable, worked hard, and was such a joy to have as an employee! She was such a ray of light on our team and we will greatly miss her. My favorite times were when our team would get together for happy hours where we would all often laugh so hard our stomachs hurt. After joining CSO 3 years ago, I heard a story about how Patty and her colleagues Noreen, Joyce, and John would walk down the hall to get coffee. Patty, Noreen, and Joyce then became known as “Charlie’s Angels” as they walked down the hall with John each day. Patty is truly an angel, who we were so lucky to have on our team. We will miss our sunshine, Patty, her contagious smile and her sweet personality terribly.

Life long friend.

We met at Middlesex County College and have been friends ever since. Her smile was sunshine. We had such fun during our summer beach house days where we danced the nights away. We shared a passion for hard work in pharma as well as fun in the sun and of course on the dance floor. Patty will always hold a special place in the hearts of those that knew her. She will be missed by all of us that love her. Yet, I know, that when I think of Patty it is not sadness that I think about, it is Joy and Fun. That is how I will remember my life long and very dear friend. Love to all. Bernice
