Obituary for Norman Levay

South Amboy
Norman Levay, age 73 of South Amboy passed away Wednesday April 29, 2015 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge. Born in Perth Amboy he was a lifelong resident of South Amboy. Before his retirement Norman was employed by Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy and Old Bridge as a respiratory therapist for 42 years. He was a US Army Veteran serving as a medic during the Vietnam War and a long time member of Christ Episcopal Church in South Amboy.

He is predeceased by his parents Henry and Julia Orszulski. Surviving are his sisters Linda Balas of Old Bridge, Robin Pinkow and her husband Steve of Dana Point, CA, his brother Dale Orszulski of Parlin, his nieces and nephews Lisa Zebrowski and her husband Carl of Parlin, Lori Smith of Jackson, Don Freer of Beachwood, Katie Orszulski of Parlin, Jake Pinkow of Dana Point, CA and Griffin Pinkow of NYC, his great niece Julia Zebrowski of Parlin and his great nephews Michael and Hunter Jones of Parlin, Henry Smith of Jackson and Donald and Ryan Freer of Freehold.

Funeral services will be held 9:30am Monday from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin with a 10am Service at Christ Episcopal Church in South Amboy. Burial will follow at Christ Church Cemetery in South Amboy.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday from 2pm to 5pm.
