Obituary for Nellie Maliadis

Nellie Maliadis
Nellie Kahre Maliadis, age 90 of Parlin, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2020, with her loving husband by her side. Born in Greece, she had resided in Parlin for over 50 years. Before her retirement, Nellie worked as a seamstress in the garment district of Manhattan, NY. She was a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Perth Amboy.

She is predeceased by her parents George and Anna Kahre. Surviving are her husband Cetoris "Teddy" Maliadis, her sisters Niki, Kiki, Toula, and Jenny, her brother Elias, and her goddaughter Maria Perry. Funeral services will be Friday 10am at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Perth Amboy with a burial to follow at Clover Leaf Memorial Park in Woodbridge.
