Obituary for Michael Francis "Mike " Gordon

Michael Francis Gordon, age 65, of South Amboy, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at his home. Born in New York City, Mike and his 5 brothers grew up in the Madison Park section of Old Bridge and later moved to South Amboy, where he has lived ever since. He graduated from Divine Word High School in Bordentown and later received his Bachelor’s Degree from Trenton State College. Before his retirement, Mr. Gordon worked as a warehouse manager for Twin County Grocers in Edison for many years. Caring brother, loving uncle, and avid Jeopardy viewer, Mike will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Mike is predeceased by his parents James Anthony, Sr. and Margaret Gordon. Surviving are his beloved siblings and their spouses James & Mary Jane of FL, John & Marianne of Rumson, Francis & Mary of Manahawkin, Thomas & Ann of Lawrenceville, and Joseph & Laura of Freehold; his 12 loving nieces & nephews Brett, Moira, Katie, Keri, Sheila, Sean, Jamie, Tyler, Megan, Brittany, Joey, and Margaret; and his 6 grand nieces and grand nephews Collin, Luke, Bryce, Yako, Zoey, & Trey.
