Parlin
Mary M. Woods, age 80 of the Parlin section of Old Bridge passed away Sunday June 2nd 2013 at Reformed Church Home in Old Bridge. Born in Bronx, NY she had resided in Parlin for the past 45 years. Before her retirement she was employed in the mortgage department for Amboy National Bank in Old Bridge for 15 years. Mrs. Woods was a communicant of St Bernadette RC Church in Parlin and was a member of the Old Bridge Elks #2229 Ladies Auxillary.

She is predeceased by her parents James and Katherine Mannion, her husband James, her son Michael and her brother James Mannion. Surviving are her son Jim and his wife Cindy of South Amboy, her daughters Kathleen Vogel of Robbinsville, Mary Laratta and her husband Don of South Amboy, her grandchildren Kristen, Stephanie, Michael and Ashley Woods, Jilyne Laratta Tangolics, Kayla Laratta, and JJ and Kelly Vogel, her brother and sister in-laws Betty Woods, Catherine Laverty, Thomas and Jeanne Woods, Matthew and Anne Woods, Patrick and Peggy Woods and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 9:30am Thursday from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin with a 10am Mass at St Bernadette RC Church in Parlin. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park in South Brunswick.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mary’s name to the Special Needs Committee of the Old Bridge Elks #2229, 67 Old Amboy Rd, Old Bridge, NJ 08879.
