Maria Gonzalez, age 47 passed away October 12, 2015 at the JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born in Long Branch, New Jersey she had resided in Perth Amboy for most of her life. Maria received her Associates Degree from Phoenix University and worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant at Summer Hill Nursing Home.

She is predeceased by her parents William and Carmen Castanon. Surviving is her husband of 28 years Angel Gonzalez, her step son Angel “Junito” Gonzalez, her sons and daughter in-laws, Luis Angel and Natalie Gonzalez and Miguel Angel and Monica Gonzalez, her grandchildren Amanda, Josue, Asaiah, Sophia, Eli Alexander and Carla Sophia Gonzalez, her four brothers, three sisters and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday 10am at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin followed by a burial at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick.
