Madison Park
Louis Luberto age 82 of the Madison Park section of Old Bridge passed away peacefully on Sunday March 30, 2014 at his home with his family at his side.

Born on Staten Island he has resided in Madison Park for the past 58 years. Before his retirement Mr. Luberto was employed as the manager of Screen Line Photo in Manhattan for 45 years. After retirement he worked for Enterprise Car Company as a chase driver for 8 years. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in South Amboy and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.

Lou was a past member of the Thursday night Mens’ Bowling league as well as coaching Madison Park Little League. A true sports fan, he enjoyed cheering on the football Giants and the NY Mets (as long as they weren’t playing the Dodgers.)

Surviving are his wife June Holleron Luberto, his sons Michael Luberto and his wife Ann of Sayreville, Walter Luberto of Old Bridge and a daughter-in-law Joan Finger of South Amboy. His grandchildren Michael Luberto and his wife Amber of Sayreville and Samantha Rose Luberto of Old Bridge, his great grandchildren Vincent Michael Luberto and LilyAnn Rose Luberto and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Wednesday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.

Funeral services will be held Thursday 10:15am at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin with burial to follow at Forest Green Park Cemetery, Old Bridge.
