Sayreville
Lorraine H. Starner Tancordo, age 83 of Sayreville, passed away Monday January 13, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Nursing Center at St. Joseph’s Senior home in Woodbridge. Born in Newark, she had resided in Sayreville since 1965. Before her retirement in 1998, Lorraine worked as the supervisor of shipping and receiving for 27years, for Siemens Hearing Instruments in Piscataway. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Victories RC Church in Sayreville.
She is predeceased by her husbands Bernard F. Bayer and Carmine Tancordo, her parents John A. Starner and Hazel Lang Starner, and her brother John “Jack” Starner.
Surviving are her loving daughters Barbara Bossany, Donna Marie Bayer, her son Thomas Bayer, her stepchildren Catherine Tancordo and Michael Tancordo, her grandchildren Alexander Beslic, Peter Tancordo, Jessica Tancordo and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday 8:15am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin with a 9am funeral mass to follow at Our Lady of Victories RC Church in Sayreville. Burial will take place at Chestnut Hill Cemetery in East Brunswick. A funeral repass will take place at Camillo's restaurant (31 MacArthur Ave, Sayreville, NJ 08872)
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Friday 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.
