Spotswood
Joyce Ward Cavanaugh age 79 of Spotswood passed away Tuesday November 5, 2013 at Golden Living Center, Old Bridge. Born in Perth Amboy she had resided in Parlin before moving to Spotswood in 1983. Before her retirement in 1987 she was employed as a secretary for E. I. Du Pont Photo Products in Parlin where she worked for 35 years. Joyce was a member of the Du Pont 10 & 25 year clubs.

She is predeceased by her husband Frank J. Cavanaugh in 2008, her parents John & Mary Ward, her brother Ronald Ward and his wife Angelina, her nephews Carl Elardo, John Ward and her niece Mary Hinlicky. Surviving are her nieces Cynthia Brennan, and Elizabeth Elardo, her stepchildren Patricia Robustelli, Judith Cavanaugh and Frank Cavanaugh, 2 step grandchildren 3 step great grandchildren and 7 great nieces and nephews and 2 great great nieces.

Grave side services will be held Friday 11am at New Calvary Cemetery, Washington Road, Parlin under the direction of the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin. Letters of condolence may be sent to the family at www.spezzifuneralhome.com
