Old Bridge Joseph Petrick Jr. age 83 passed away May 13th at Bayshore Community Hospital, in Holmdel NJ. Born in New York City in 1932. He is a veteran who served in the U.S. Army from January 15, 1953 to January 15, 1955 during the Korean War. He later attended City College in NYC and went on to complete his Bachelor of Science, in 1966 at Rutgers university. He was married to Gloria in 1956, and moved to Old Bridge, NJ in 1958. He was employed by General Electric Co. and went on to own his own business, Amboy Lighting in Perth Amboy, NJ. He was predeceased by his parents Cecilia and Joseph Petrick Sr. and his sister Frances Hromada. Surviving are his beloved wife of 60 years Gloria, and his beloved children Cecilia, Jennifer, Lorraine and her husband Sonny Kenn, and his son Joseph J. He was a loving husband and father and he will be missed very much. Funeral Services will be held 10am Friday from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane Parlin NJ, with a burial following at Christ Church Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Thursday from 5pm to 8pm.
