John Hunt, age 90, passed away Monday July 28, 2014 at RBMC in Old Bridge. Born in Jersey City he has resided in Parlin for most of his life. John worked as a machinist for IBM in Dayton for 20 years. He was a proud parishioner of St. Bernadette’s RC Church as well as a member of the St. Bernadette’s Knights of Columbus.

John is survived by his wife of 64 years Nellie Dombrowski Hunt, his children and their spouses John & Lynn Hunt, Wendy & Timothy Armacost, his grandchildren Lindsey & Matthew Overbay, Dr Jeremy Hunt and Samantha Armacost and his great grandson Parker Overbay.

Funeral services will be Saturday 9am at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin followed by a 9:30am mass at St Bernadette’s R. C. Church with a private cremation to follow. Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Friday 4pm to 7pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in John’s name be made to Calvary Hospital, 1740 Eastchester Road, Bronx, N.J. 10461.
