South River
John Martin Buczek age 83 of South River passed away peacefully on Saturday June 1, 2013 at his home with his devoted family at his side. Born in Sayreville he has resided in South River for the past 49 years. Before his retirement 20 years ago he was employed as a machinist for Jersey Central Power and Light Company in Sayreville for 30 years. Mr. Buczek was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War, a member of the South River Senior Citizens Club and an avid hunter. John enjoyed spending time with his daughters and their families and was a long time communicant of Saint Stephen Protomartyr R. C. Church in South River.

He is predeceased by his wife Marion Kralovich Buczek in 2003 and by his parents John & Stella (Wrobel) Buczek. Surviving are his daughters and their spouses Diane & Mike Butler of South River and Susan & Alan Feste of Plainfield, his grandchildren Sean Butler, Nicole & Chris Gross, Neil Feste and Kyle Feste and his brother Bob Buczek and his wife Ann of South Brunswick.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday 8:30am from the Maliszewski Funeral home 218 Whitehead Avenue South River followed by a 9am mass at Saint Stephen Protomartyr R.C. Church in South River with private cremation to follow.
