Old Bridge
Helen Elizabeth Suchan age 84 of Old Bridge passed away peacefully on January 23, 2014 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge with her loving family at her side. Born in Franklin Township she has resided in Old Bridge since 1950. Before her retirement she was employed as an operator for Superior Signal in Old Bridge for 20 years and prior to that for Sunshine Biscuit in Sayreville.

She is predeceased by her husband Frank Suchan in 1999 and her parents Albert and LeNita Morris. Surviving are her children Frank Suchan of Oswego, N.Y., Richard Suchan of Largo, Fl, Linda J. Mergogey of Breinigsville, Pa, Dawn M. Lugo of Old Bridge and Cynthia D. Peer of Mayetta, her sisters Ethel Anghelone of Jackson, Jean Povlich of North Brunswick and Mildred Colligan of Somerset, 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday 11am at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, North Brunswick.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Monday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers donations in Helen’s name will be accepted by the family for expenses. Letters of condolence may be sent to the family at spezzifuneralhome.com
