Parlin
Helen Woszczyna Stochel age 88 of the Parlin section of Sayreville passed away peacefully on Friday February 15, 2013 at her home with her companion Charles Vincent at her side. Born in Sayreville she was a lifelong borough resident. Mrs. Stochel was a former member of the Imperial Music Center in South River and a communicant of Sacred Heart R. C. Church in South Amboy.

She is predeceased by her husband Edward A. Stochel in 1996, also by her sisters Jeanette Meyertons, Viola Garboski, and Stella Markulic and her brothers Joseph Woszczyna and Stanley Woszczyna. Surviving are her daughters Elaine Stochel, Christine Stochel and Kathleen Hagel, her grandchildren Ian Martin, Michele Hagel, Daniel Hagel, Julie Hagel and Kimberly Hagel her great grandchildren Aiden Edward Hagel and Devin Anthony Hagel and her sister Bernice Castiglia.

Funeral services will be held Friday 9am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin followed by a 9:30am mass at Sacred Heart R. C. Church in South Amboy with burial to follow at Saint Stanislaus Cemetery, Sayreville.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Thursday from 6pm to 9pm.
