South Amboy
Genevieve “Jennie” (nee) Naperkowski Brylinski age 87 of South Amboy passed away Tuesday October 21, 2014 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born and raised in South River, she has resided in South Amboy since 1945. Before her retirement she was employed as a seamstress for Charles Komar & Son in South Amboy and was a communicant of Sacred Heart R. C. Church in South Amboy where she was also a former member of the Rosary Society. Genevieve will always be remembered by her loving family as the best baker and pie maker that they ever knew.

She is predeceased by her husband Frank J. Brylinski in 2011, her parents Stanley & Lucy Naperkowski, and her siblings Raymond, Chester and Edward Naperkowski, Cecelia Matejzuk and Wanda Maroon. Surviving are her son and his wife Frank J. & Eileen Brylinski Jr. of Metuchen her grandchildren Jenna Brylinski and Steven Brylinski and his wife Kristen, her great grandchildren Katelyn Genevieve and Lucas Matthew Brylinski who referred to her as GG and her sister Lucy Tamburello of Florida.

Funeral services will be held Friday 8:30am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin followed by a 9am mass at Sacred Heart R. C. Church in South Amboy with private burial to follow at the convenience of the family.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Thursday from 4pm to 7pm. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations in Genevieve’s name be made to Sisters of the Good Shepherd 160 Conover Road, Wickatunk, N.J. 07765.
