Gary H. Gerns, age 65 of Perth Amboy, passed away Thursday January 3, 2019, at his home with his loving family by his side. Born in Perth Amboy Gary was a lifelong resident of the city. Before his retirement Gary worked as a truck driver for the City of Perth Amboy.
Gary is predeceased by his parents George Sr. and Elizabeth Gerns, his siblings, Edward Gerns and Diane Duffy. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Diana Gerns, his son Gary D. Gerns, his daughter and her husband Laura and Ryan Kjersgaard, his grand children, Amanda, Skylar and Gary, his great granddaughter Harmony, his siblings Betty Bogus, George Gerns Jr., Charles Gerns and Ruthann Gilmore as well as many loving nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.
Calling hours at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin, NJ are Sunday from 2pm to 5pm. Funeral services will take place 10am Monday, January 7, 2019 from the Carmen F.
