Frank Mula, age 71, of Studio City, CA, peacefully passed away at Glendale Adventists Medical Center in Glendale, CA on Friday, December 17, 2021. Born in New Brunswick to the late Frank Sr. and Rita Mula, Frank was raised in South River where he lived for the first 28 years of his life. He decided to follow his dream of becoming involved in TV writing and producing and moved to California over 40 years ago, living in Sherman Oaks for 30 years, and most recently in Studio City. Mr. Mula was an accomplished TV writer and producer, having been a part of many shows including The Simpsons, where his work was recognized with 2 Emmy Awards. He was a dedicated and proud member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and the Writers Guild of America. Frank had many accomplishments and accolades during his life but none were more important than the friends and relationships he made. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Frank is survived by his nieces Tonya Paul and her husband Mohamed Khalifa of Rahway, Kristen Torres of TX, and Jaidelynn Torres of TX; nephew Jaden Torres of TX; cousins Gail Giannino and Phillip Giannino of Somerset; dear friends Leonard and Sherri Ripps of CA; Charlie Bonomo of CA; as well as many dear family and friends in both New Jersey and California who he made over his lifetime.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10am on Thursday at M.A. Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Avenue, South River with burial to follow at Holy Cross Burial Park in South Brunswick.
