Upon the silent sands
the ocean now calls to me
And with a conch shell
I have put to my ear
I can hear
the heartbeats of time
Whisper
promises beyond, she keeps
And I can feel- in this
moment of grief
Bearing the essence of
eternal tides
as I stand on the edge
of blue seas
I can feel you
caressing,
my shoe-less feet
