Obituary for Edward M Kubiak
Edward M. Kubiak, age 72 of South River passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born in Jasien, Poland he had resided in South River for the past 25 years. Before his retirement he was employed as a plumber for Peter J. Saker Co. in Freehold for 20 years. Edward enjoyed fishing, working around the house, helping family members with different projects and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his parents Wladyslaw and Elzbieta Kubiak and his brother Tadeusz Kubiak. Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Irena Kozlowska Kubiak, his children and their spouses Tomasz and Margaret Kubiak of Spotswood and Monika and Adam Wojcik of South River, his grandchildren Matthew Kubiak, Brian Kubiak, Izabela Wojcik and Jakub Wojcik, his siblings and their spouses Fr. Jozef Kubiak of Edison, Waldemar and Danuta Kubiak of South River, Teresa and Jozef Zielinski of South River and Stanislaw and Anna Kubiak of Somerset, his sister-in-law Elzbieta Kubiak of Somerset and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will take place Monday 9:30am from the Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Ave, South River with a 10am Mass at St Mary of Ostrabrama RC Church in South River. Burial will follow at St Mary’s Cemetery in East Brunswick. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday from 2pm to 6pm.
