Dolores Kominkiewicz, age 72, of the Parlin section of Sayreville passed away Friday, March 25, 2016, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel, with her loving family at her side. Born in South River, she has resided in Parlin since 1966. Dolores, with her husband Robert, ran the family business “Bears Hot Dogs” on Bordentown Avenue for 45 years. She was a communicant of Saint Bernadette’s R. C. Church in Parlin.

She is predeceased by her son Rob Kominkiewicz in 1972, her parents Anthony & Frances Stader Wojciechowski, and her brothers Robert Wojciechowski and Mark Ploskin. Surviving are her husband of 53 years Robert “Bear” Kominkiewicz, her children Scott Kominkiewicz and his wife Teresa of East Brunswick and Kim Kominkiewicz of Parlin, her grandchildren Scott Jr., and his fiancée Ayako Honda, Corinne, Constance and John, her sister Charlotte Mico and her husband Edward of Jackson, her sister in law Marilyn Wojciechowski of Florida and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin will be held Tuesday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 10:30am from the funeral home followed by an 11am mass at Saint Bernadette’s R. C. Church in Parlin with burial to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin.
