Sayreville
Dennis Silowka Jr., age 58 of Sayreville passed away Sunday April 7th 2013 at Willow Creek Rehabilitation Center in Somerset. Mr. Silowka was a lifelong Sayreville borough resident. He was employed by Bristol Meyer Squibb in New Brunswick for many years, was a communicant of St Thomas the Apostle RC Church in Old Bridge and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is predeceased by his parents Dennis Silowka and Helen Mislyan and his sister Cynthia Mazurek. Surviving are his wife of 21 years, the former Patricia Jeffries, his son Dennis III of South Brunswick, his daughter Emily of Sayreville, his granddaughter Chloe, his siblings Debbie Wallace of South Carolina, Glenn of South River, David and Brian both of Washington State, Tara Sinker of Bridgewater and many nieces, nephews and brother and sister in laws.

Funeral services will be held 8:30am Wednesday from the Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Ave, South River with a 9am Mass at St Thomas the Apostle RC Church in Old Bridge. Burial will follow at Chestnut Hill Cemetery in East Brunswick.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be Tuesday from 5pm to 9pm.
