Obituary for Charlotte M Bloch (Roskoski)

Parlin
Charlotte Roskoski Bloch of Parlin, passed away Friday June 19, 2015 at St. Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born and raised in Simpson PA, Charlotte had lived in Parlin for the past 50 years. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart RC Church in South Amboy. She was a former member of the Sayreville Planning Board and former vice president of the Sayreville Jayceettes. Charlotte graduated Kean University at the age of 40 and brought her dedication and compassion and many skills to educate and provide a better life for hundreds of her special needs students as a special education teacher for 27 years. Charlotte was an avid gardener, a super shopper, always finding beautiful attire at bargain prices. She enjoyed fine dinning and traveling the world and meeting and socializing with everyone she encountered along the way.
Charlotte is survived by her husband of 50 years Laurens, her two sons Chris and his wife Kathy and Laurens and his wife Alexandra and the pride and joy of her life, Spencer and Grant her awesome grandsons.
Funeral services will be Monday 8:30am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin with a 9am mass to follow at Scared Heart RC Church in South Amboy. A private cremation will follow.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday from 2pm to 5pm.
