Obituary for Carlo "Carl" DeLitizia

Parlin
Carlo DeLitizia age 89 of the Parlin section of Old Bridge passed away Saturday May 25, 2013 at Bayshore Health Center, Holmdel with his loving and devoted family at his bedside. Born in Jersey City he has resided in Parlin for the past 58 years. Before his retirement in 1986 he was employed as an auto mechanic for 45 years retiring from Margol Ford in Old Bridge. Mr. DeLitizia served as a Sergeant with the U.S. Marine Corp during World War II and was a communicant of Saint Bernadette’s R. C. Church in Parlin.

He is predeceased by his parents Felix and Emma DeLitizia and his sisters Louise La Vista & Josephine Vena. Surviving are his wife of 67 years Lucy Vena DeLitizia, his daughter and her husband Carolyn & Martin Mervin of Middletown, his grandchildren Taylor and Brian.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday 10:30am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin followed by an 11am mass at St Bernadette’s R. C. Church in Parlin with burial to follow at New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin.
