Parlin
Billie Quick, age 81 of Parlin, passed away on Saturday April 6, 2019 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Missouri, he had lived in Parlin for the past 53 years. Before his retirement, Billie worked as a mechanic for NJ Transit for 30 years. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the Sayreville American Legion Post 211 and the Sayreville VFW Post 4699. He was a communicant of St. Bernadette’s RC Church in Parlin.
He is predeceased by his parents Ralph and Cora Etries Quick.
Surviving are his loving wife, the former Jean Kwiatkowski, his children and their spouses Michael and his wife Gail, William, Patricia Lambert and her husband John, and his grandchildren Michael. William, Katelyn, Jennifer, Tiffani, and Ryan.
Funeral services will be Wednesday 9:15am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home followed by a 10am service at St. Bernadette’s RC Church in Parlin. Burial will follow at the NJ Veteran’s Cemetery in Wrightstown. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Billie’s name to donations to Wounded Warriors 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300 Jacksonville, FL 32256,
