Alphonse M. Rispoli, age 81 of Morgan, passed away Thursday April 18th 2013 at Newark Beth Israel Hospital. Born in Newark, he had lived in Morgan for the past 53 years. Before his retirement, Mr. Rispoli was an office manager for BP Oil in Newark for many years. He was a US Marine Corps Veteran of Korea.
He is predeceased by his father Thomas.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years, the former Beatrice Vitale, his mother Mary DeLuca Rispoli of Newark, his daughters Maria Forrer and her husband Robert of Jackson, Joanne Gottstine and her husband William of Sayreville, Lisa Rispoli and her partner Joe Primavera of Sayreville, Gina of Freehold, his grandsons Sonny and Joseph Gottstine of Sayreville, his brothers Thomas and his wife Romilda of Jackson, Anthony and his wife Iris of Union, his sister Isabelle Alfano of Newark, many Godchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday 10:15am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin with an 11am mass at St. Stanislaus Kostka RC Church in Sayreville. Burial will take place at St. Stan's Cemetery in Sayreville. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday from 4pm to 8pm only.
