Parlin
Alice Carey Best, fondly known as “Suz” age 84 of Parlin, passed away Friday April 19th 2013 at Briarwood Care Center in Sayreville. Born in Pittston PA, she had resided in Parlin for over 40 years. Before her retirement, Alice was a line worker with Insul-Coustics in Sayreville for many years. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Suz loved to cook and bake for family and friends. She recently visited her beloved Cape May.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 65 years, Charles, her loving children Donald and his wife Eileen of Little Silver, Joanne Pollman and her husband Michael of Carteret, Tom of Spotswood, and her cherished grandchildren Donald, Charles, Harrison, Tommy, Danny, Alexa and her siblings James Carey, Euberta Thall and Judy Garvin.
A private cremation was held under the direction of Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin NJ 08859.
A memorial funeral mass will be held Saturday April 27th 2013 at St. Stanislaus Kostka RC Church 225 MacArthur Ave Sayreville NJ 08872.
