Alexander Marcopul, age 68 of the Parlin section of Sayreville passed away Tuesday, December 22nd 2015 at St Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Jersey City he had resided in Bayonne before moving to Parlin 6 years ago. Before his retirement he was self employed as a real estate appraiser in north Jersey for many years.

He is predeceased by his parents Harry and Rita Marcopul. Surviving are his daughters Christina Steckly and her husband Richard of Sayreville, Alison Kasper of Sayreville, his son Alexander H. Marcopul and his wife Gina of Brick, his grandchildren Kaitlyn and Jason Steckly, Melyssa Kasper and Alexis, Nicholas and Jessica Marcopul, his brother Dino Marcopul of PA and his former wife Nancy Marcopul of Sayreville.

Funeral services will be held Sunday 3:30pm at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin with a private cremation to follow.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday from 2pm to 5pm.
In lieu of f lowers memorial donations may be made in Alexander’s name to the Disabled Veterans Foundation or to Wounded Warrior Project.
