John Grace, age 72 of Matawan passed away Thursday January 5, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital. Born in Newark, John married Patricia (Pagnani) in November 1972, and moved to Matawan in the early 1980's to raise their son Christopher. John was employed by the Woodbridge Township Board of Education for forty years as a Social Studies teacher at Colonia Junior High. He will be missed by all who knew him.

John is predeceased by his beloved wife, Patrica, his loving son, Christopher, and his parents, John & Ann Grace. John is survived by his sister Ann & her husband John Davey, and his nephews, Peter and Patrick. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Kenneth Pagnani & his wife, Patricia, and his nieces and their families, Corey & Seth Cubbage, Amy & Brad Mehl, and Brittany & Chad Tiger.

Funeral services will be held Thursday 10:15am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin, NJ followed by a 11am mass at Saint Bernadette’s church in Parlin with burial to follow at Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick, NJ.

Calling Hours will be held Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane Parlin, NJ.
