Obituary for Longin R "Butch" Brackman (D'Zuro)


South River
Longin “Butch” D’Zuro Brackman, age 74 of South River, passed away peacefully, Sunday October 16, 2016 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, surrounded by her loving family. Born in New Brunswick, she was a lifelong borough resident of South River. Butch was a homemaker and a member of Little House Association. She was a communicant of St. Stephen Protomartyr RC Church in South River.
She is predeceased by her parents Andrew and Longin D’Zuro, and her brothers Richard and Dennis D’Zuro.
Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Richard, her children Christine Brackman-Clonan and her husband Brian, Daniel Brackman and his wife Audrey, her grandchildren Kelley Clonan-Davy and her husband Mark Davy, Chelsey Nieves and her husband Jason, Bradley Clonan and his wife Gabby, her great-grandchildren Sophia, Riley and a great-granddaughter due in March, her siblings Andrew D’Zuro, James D’Zuro, Robert D’Zuro and his wife Kate Sullivan, Ellen D’Zuro, Christopher D’Zuro and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be Wednesday 9:45am from the Maliszewski Funeral Home 218 Whitehead Ave in South River with a 10:30am mass to follow at St. Stephen Protomartyr RC Church. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in South Brunswick.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Tuesday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.
