South River
Emilia Filipowicz Kostkowska age 84 of Uniontown, Pennsylvania passed away Wednesday August 5, 2015 at her home with her loving family at her side. Born in Ilia, Poland, she immigrated to the United States May 1, 1974 settling in South River before moving to Pennsylvania in 1986. Before her retirement she with her husband Rajmund were the owners of Melody Motor Lodge in Connellsville, Pa and was a former communicant of Saint Mary of Ostrabrama R. C. Church in South River.
Surviving are her husband Rajmund Kostkowski, her daughters Ewa Sroka, Grazyna Sulocki and Alicja Broniszewski, her grandchildren Agnieszka, Jack, Krzysztof, Dorota, Danuta, Zbigniew and Piotr, her great grandchildren Patrick, Jessie, Daniel, Melody, James, Frances and Natasza and her sisters Janina Pasanovic and Jadwiga Lenarczyk.
Funeral services will be held Monday 8:30am from the Maliszewski Funeral Home 218 Whitehead Avenue South River followed by a 9am mass at Saint Mary of Ostrabrama R. C. Church in South River with burial to follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery, East Brunswick.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Sunday from 2pm to 6pm.
