Parlin
Joseph Kolodziej age 81 of the Parlin section of Sayreville passed away Tuesday December 16, 2014 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Edison he has resided in Parlin for most of his life. Before his retirement from Forsgate Country Club Mr. Kolodziej along with is brother owned the Phoenix Bar and Grill in Fords. Mr. Kolodziej was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Sayreville K of C council 2061. He was an avid deep sea fisherman and wood worker.

He is predeceased by his wife Anna Urbanski, his siblings Edward Kolodziej, Helen Nonevich, Jenevieve Mozolic and Chester Kolodziej. Surviving are his Sister in law and her husband, Jean and James Valone, his compainain Marylou Dunn and many loving nieces nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday 10am at St. Stanislaus Kostka R.C Church in Sayreville. Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Friday from 3pm to 7pm.
