Parlin
Rose Rom, of Parlin, NJ passed away at her home Saturday December 6, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Rose was born in Bari, Italy before immigrating to the United States. Rose was a loving mother and wife. Her entire life was devoted to her family and home. She was loving, caring, strong, and selfless. She exemplified grace and humility. Rose gave her family endless and unconditional love and support.

Rose is predeceased by her sister Angela Imbascini and brothers Vincent and Dominick Piscitelli. She is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Richard Rom; two daughters, Linda Ricci and her husband Anthony and Lisa Rom; two grandchildren, Steven Gitlin and Alaina Rosado and two great grandchildren, Kendall Sophia and Vincent Louis. She is also survived by her sister, Anna Rugalo and her 21 loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will take place Thursday 9:30am from the Carmen F Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin, NJ with a 10am funeral mass being offered at St. Bernadette’s R.C church in Parlin. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park, East Brunswick.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Wednesday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.
