Sayreville
Stella Cholewa of Sayreville passed away peacefully on Thursday September 25, 2014 at her home with her loving family at her side. Born in Sayreville she was a life long borough resident. Before her retirement she was employed through the International Ladies Garment Workers Union as a seamstress for 35 years. Stella was a communicant of Saint Stanislaus Kostka R. C. Church in Sayreville.

She is predeceased by her parents Michael & Frances Kuzdzal Cholewa, also by her siblings John, Joseph, Louis, Chester, Adolph, Frank, Edward, Catherine, Lorraine Cholewa and Mary Burczyk. Surviving are her sister in law Phyllis Cholewa, and her nieces Janice Skinner, Sister Mary Laverne Cholewa, Loretta Albin, Barbara Trzaska, La Verne Cholewa, Carol Zagata, Brenda Brady and Amy Freeman and several great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday 10:30am from the Maliszewski Memorial Home 121 Main Street Sayreville followed by an 11am mass at Saint Stanislaus Kostka R. C. Church in Sayreville with burial to follow at Saint Stanislaus Cemetery, Sayreville.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Monday from 9am to 10:30am.
