Helen M. Ardanowski, age 99, of Manasquan passed away peacefully on Sunday September 21, 2014 at Sunnyside Nursing Home in Manasquan. Born in Crabtree, Pennsylvania she resided in Sayreville for most of her life.

Helen is predeceased by her husband Benjamin, her brothers Henry, Leon, Charles, Walter, Edward and William Mickiewicz and her sisters Leona Piskadlo and Viola Smutko. Surviving are her children and their spouses, Benjamin and Delores Ardanowski of CA, Henry and Bernice Ardanowski of South Carolina and Kathleen and Ronald Nowak of Brick, NJ; her grandchildren Ronald Nowak Jr. of Brielle, Cynthia and Michael Heidelbaugh of PA, Michael and Amy Nowak of Brick, Lauren Nowak of Brick and Debra and Rick Kaylor of CA. Helen will also be missed dearly by her seven great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday 9 AM from the Maliszewski Memorial Home, 121 Main Street, Sayreville followed by a 9:30 AM Mass at Our Lady of Victories R. C. Church in Sayreville, with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in East Brunswick.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be Thursday from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
