Obituary for Anna Tsamisis

North Bergen
Anna Tsamisis age 91 of North Bergen passed away Saturday September 13th 2014 at her home. Born in Jersey City she had resided in North Bergen for the past 58 years. Before her retirement 15 years ago she was employed as an administrative assistant in the advertising division of Strings Industries in Manhattan for 45 years. She was a member of St Demetrious Greek Orthodox Church in Perth Amboy and was a member of the Ladies Philoptochos Society.

She is predeceased by her parents Paul and Maria Trantaflou Tsamisis, her siblings James Tsamisis and Katherine Sophia Tsamisis and her nephew John Norek. Surviving are her sister Helen Delaney of Indian Trail N.C., her nieces and nephews Karen Norek of Aberdeen, Paul & Linda Delaney of Keansburg, Marianne & Rick Plesher of Indian Trail N.C., Lawrence Delaney of Charlotte N.C. and Helen & Nick Gargalidis of Dayton 11 great nieces and nephews and 4 great great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday 9am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin followed by a 10am service at Saint Demetrious Greek Orthodox Church in Perth Amboy with burial to follow at Rosedale Cemetery, Linden.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Wednesday from 6pm to 9pm.
