William Fernandez, age 63 of Sayreville passed away Saturday February 8, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Medellin, Colombia he resided in Bloomfield before moving to Sayreville 2 years ago. Mr. Fernandez was employed as a carpenter through the International Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners Local 253.
He is predeceased by his parents Gildardo and Maruja Fernandez. Surviving are his wife of 42 years Marie Galasso Fernandez, his daughters Dena Zamora and her husband Devin and Lysha Fernandez and his grandson Julian Zamora.
Funeral services will be held Thursday 9:30am at Our Lady of Victories R. C. Church Main Street Sayreville under the direction of the Maliszewski Memorial Home 121 Main Street Sayreville, N.J.
