Obituary for Walter P "Logan" Koscinski

Sayreville
Walter P. “Logan” Koscinski, age 91 of Sayreville, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2022 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Sayreville Logan was a lifelong borough resident. Before his retirement, he worked over 35 years at E.I. DuPont as a boiler operator. Logan was an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved woodworking. He was a proud US Navy veteran of the Korean War Conflict and a member of the American Legion Post 211. Logan was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka RC Church in Sayreville.
He is predeceased by his parents Anthony and Eleanor and his siblings Clara and Edwin.
Surviving are his loving wife of 67 years, the former Barbara Lunski, his beloved sons Mark and his wife Susan Hornak, Matthew and his wife Laura, his cherished grandchildren Jared, Heather, Kylie, Alyssa and Kendyl, his great-grandchildren John, Luke, Aidan, Christina, and Hannah, and his brother Anthony.
Funeral services will be Monday 8:30am from the Maliszewski Memorial Home 121 Main St. Sayreville with a 9:00am Mass at St. Stanislaus Kostka RC Church in Sayreville. Burial will follow at St. Stan’s Cemetery.
Viewing will be Sunday from 1pm tom 4pm.
