Obituary for Violet Durovich
Violet Durovich, age, 92 of South River passed away Thursday November 21, 2019. Born in New Brunswick, Vi had been a lifelong resident of South River and loved spending her summers down the shore. She was an active member of the church and helped form the Balalaika Orchestra. She led a full and active life and enjoyed traveling to many far off places.
She is predeceased by her adoring husband Nicholas Durovich. Survived by her children and their spouses, Susan Durovich and Peter Radabaugh, Veronica Muirhead and Nicholas and Anne Durovich, her grandchildren, Heather, Kyra, Shawna, Justin, Holly, Kristin, Jeffery, Erin, Kyle and Hailey as well as many loving great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Calling hours at Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Avenue, South River will be held Sunday from 1pm to 4pm. Funeral services will take place Monday, 9:30am at the funeral home with a 10am funeral service at Saint Peter & Paul R.O. Church, South River. Burial will follow at Saint Peter & Paul Cemetery.
