Vincenza M. Menafro, age 81 of South Amboy, passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side. Born in Newark, she had lived in South Amboy for many years. Before her retirement, Vincenza worked at Abram Yecies Janitorial Supplies in Newark as a Purchasing Agent and Pathmark in Old Bridge as a Cashier. She dedicated her life to her family. She loved nothing more than spending time with her daughters and spoiling her adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Vincenza was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and so much more. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She is predeceased by her parents Agostino & Mary Alviggi. Surviving are her loving daughters Beatrice Menafro, Audra Menafro and Trish & Scott Springmann as well as her grandchildren Cody, Erick, Paige, Jenna, Alex and Evan and her great-grandchildren Syah, Lucas and Luciano as well as her dear friends Kathy & Jim Ciacciarelli and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.

Funeral services will be Thursday 10am at the Maliszewski Memorial Home 121 Main St. Sayreville, with a burial to follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm. in lieu of flowers donations can be made to VNA of Central Jersey in Vincenza's name.
