Obituary for Vincent Caravella
Vincent Caravella, age 80 of Parlin, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021, at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge. Born in Brooklyn, he had lived in Parlin for over 50 years where he raised his family. Before his retirement, Vincent worked in waste management. He was a proud Army Veteran. Vincent was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, friend and so much more. He will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
He is predeceased by his parents Bernard & Helen Caravella as well as his brother Joseph Caravella.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 53 years Marietta Caravella as well as his children and their spouses Christine Caravella, Danielle & Christopher Balon and Robyn Caravella, his grandchildren Jessica, Vincent, Riley, & Skylar, as well as siblings Frank & Barbara Caravella and Maria & Tim Zatina and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.
A private cremation was entrusted to the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin, NJ and a celebration of Vincent’s life will take place at a later date. Completed arrangements, letters of condolence to the family, and directions may be found by visiting www.spezzifuneralhome.com.
