Thomas Simonelli, age 78, of Parlin, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at Bayshore Hospital in Holmdel. Born in Jersey City, he had lived in Parlin for the past 4 years. Before his retirement, Tom worked as a driver for Triboro Hardware in Hoboken for many years. He was a former communicant and very active member of St. Joseph’s RC Church in Jersey City and became a communicant of Our Lady of Victories RC Church in Sayreville when he moved to Parlin. Tom was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. His greatest joy was spending time with his 5 beloved grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife Alice, his parents Anthony and Elizabeth and his brother George.
Surviving are his loving children and their spouses Thomas Simonelli and Antoinette, Michael Simonelli, Nicole and Chris Verlingo, Erika and Robert Rask, his cherished grandchildren Thomas, Christian, Nicholas, Daniella, Alyssa, his siblings James, June and Jean, and many nieces and nephews.
