Thomas Horoshko, born on January 13th, 1954 in (Perth Amboy NJ) passed away on January 1st 2021 at Raritan Bay Hospital Old Bridge NJ. He was 12 days away from celebrating his 67th birthday.
Tommy, as he was known to his family and friends, resided in Sayreville, NJ. He grew up the youngest of three siblings to parents Irene and Alex Horoshko (pre-deceased).
Tommy, his sisters Joyce Horoshko (pre-deceased) and Janice Prendeville were apart of a large family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews that all lived in the local President Park, Sayreville area. Tommy worked tirelessly for the Sayreville Board of Education at the local Sayreville Middle School. He was the ultimate professional in doing whatever was asked of him and was always willing to help anybody out.
He had a passion for cars and trucks, whether it was building his own hot rods in his garage, watching funny car racing on the TV or spending time at Englishtown Raceway Park. He also enjoyed the trips to his local D&D for a coffee or going out to eat with his late sister Joyce. His last new passion after retiring was spending time with his niece’s Yorkie dog Munchie. Munchie would expect to see Tommy every day whether for a walk, a cuddle, or just to play around in the house. Munchie never left Tommy alone until he gave her some treats which Munchie knew he always carried in his pocket.
Tommy had a huge impact on a lot of people in the local community and everyone always spotted Tommy around town in his precious "red truck".
While he will be missed, he will not be forgotten.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for any donations to be made to the front line workers in your local community.
A private ceremony will be held with immediate family.
